Dr. Rachel Lowinger
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Lowinger is a licensed clinical psychologist based in Boca Raton, Florida, where she sees patients both in person and via Telehealth. She also maintains a practice in Long Island and Lawrence, New York. She received her PhD from Concordia University in Montreal Canada, and completed her postdoctoral internship at the William Alanson White Institute.
Dr. Rachel Lowinger is certified in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Somatic Experiencing (SE), EMDR, and Somatic Integration. In addition, she is certified in Family-Based Therapy (FBT) for eating disorders and trained in CBT-E for eating disorders.
Her strong foundation in relational psychodynamic therapy has led her to further explorations of experience near, body and emotion focused modalities, which complete and bring to full life the classical psychodynamic approach.
An avid learner and perpetual grower, Dr. Lowinger can often be found learning or assisting at training, seeking to deepen and expand the breadth and depth of her understanding of the human spirit and how to best nurture its healing and growth.
Dr. Sharon
Levi
Postdoctoral Fellow
Dr. Levi is a postdoctoral fellow working in Lawrence, NY. She received her PsyD from LIU Post and completed her doctoral internship at Jacobi Medical Center. She has extensive experience in treating a wide range of psychological disorders and specializes in the utilization of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help promote emotion regulation in both individual, and group, modalities. She also offers Family-Based Treatment (FBT) informed psychotherapy to support the entire family system in navigating and healing from eating disorders.
At the core of Dr. Levi’s work, is the focus on the therapeutic relationship, guided by the fundamentals of relational psychodynamic therapy. She strives to establish a safe and comfortable environment for which people can begin to explore barriers to healthy relationships with self and others. She aims to harness people’s individual strengths to create an atmosphere for personal growth and healing.
Marci Bleicher
Licensed Social Worker
Marci Bleicher is a licensed social worker trained at Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work, where she received the Edward Grupper Memorial Award as a first-year intern. During her second-year internship at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center, she worked primarily on the DBT unit and led both DBT and CBT-based Metacognitive Training groups. She also created a Suicide Prevention Annual Review for staff and was later awarded a grant and certification in Evidence-Based Practice by the NYS Office of Mental Health.
With a background in education, Marci incorporates the Socratic method into therapy to help clients reflect and grow. She draws from both psychodynamic therapy and DBT, emphasizing that individuals can accept reality while working toward meaningful change. Marci also integrates art therapy into her practice, using creative expression as a tool for emotional regulation and healing—especially helpful in her work with grief support groups and nursing homes.
